Papers don't matter unless your sell for profit. Lol. I'm not. Mom said in 2-3 years I can start buying sled dogs. I have to be able to precise all year every year for them. So I'm saving up. I have a breeder that my brother got his girl from, that sells $200 per pup. I'm gunna get 3 girls from them and that blue Aussie I want then a male husky from a breeder that my friend got her husky from. That way I can breed. so I'm saving up now.

i don't think any of my dogs have papers. Well Checkers my border collie does but he can pull (he will sit down and the other fall on him)

My girls supposed to be Siberian husky but she looks Alaskan. She's got papers though.

My girl eats 1 1/2 cup of food every other day. By her chose. I give her food 2 times a day, mom said I can start saving up $$ but dad might not be on board with me actually raising sled dogs.

i don't know about you, but food doesn't really cost much because alaskan huskies don't need to eat much. they were breed to be the perfect mushing dog

My dogs live in dog house that where here when we moved in ( the owners raise and breed Newfoundlands) my friends dogs live in barrels. I will try to take some pics next time I go up there. You can put a t-post next to their home and chain the dog to it. They don't need to much free space. About a 5ft circle or so per dog. More if you don't run them that often. My friend And I fence the dog yard in just to be safe if one gets lose but most people don't. We also have dirfferent sections for the puppies and for breeding.

How do u house ur dogs? I live on 5acreas and my nebiors aren't that mean. I live by farmers. Can u tell me everything about mushing? I feel like I know nothing. cuz I know nothing.
