    So my hen had actually been laying more often now and hasn’t been gaping. Not today how ever she’s been slow and lethargic ? Any reason why ? Crouched down her neck more in , walking slow.Not pecking as much. She is a creamlegbar 35 weeks old

    Thank you so much I’ll look into it, and yes I mix the oyster shell and grits together. I once saw there crop full and skip a day of food and gave them straight grits . It settled down after that. But I’ll check at night thank you 🙏🏻

    Hello my creamleg bar actually did this the other day, was walking weird and laid an egg yolk and some white stuff. After that 2 days laemter has been like gasping for air or gaping. Idk if it’s gapeworms or an infection or something else. Any help ?

    New to BYC :)

    Hello I’m 26 and so is my boyfriend. We live in New Jersey 10 minutes away from the Lincoln tunnel. We have 3 beautiful chickens ! One is Olivia -olive egger , Cream -Creamlegbar , and Clucks- Easter egger . I love them very much they’re about 6-7 months now.
