    No rain clouds here, or parades looking for some sort of praise. Was just trying to help someone out as well as myself. They are chickens, a primary source of food for us humans. People (including me) eat chicken almost daily. Thanks 👍🏻

    I would not have thought that on the winter solstice here in Sullivan county NY I would get 9 eggs from 13 hens.

    I hate when people flake out. I felt so bad that I couldn’t take them all when you had the chance but Mother Nature really threw A curve ball and I didn’t want to Bring them here with no shelter at all.

    I will look into those. I’m kicking myself Bc all summer TSC had the large heated poultry fountains and I told myself “yeah I’ll get one when I need to” and now I’m struggling a little with it lol. I guess that’s why the saying “don’t put off for tomorrow what can get done today”

    Wow is it cold here on the mountain today. 26degrees today. This sucks! Even the chickens aren’t happy. I need to find a way to keep these water bowls from freezing 🥶. Going out 2 or 3 times a day to change frozen water is a bear. i Really wouldn’t complain if we stayed 35degrees right through...
