    I haven't had time to remedy the nesting box/pond dilemma yet but I think I now have 2 pond egg layers...5 eggs in 4 days.

    Another egg in the pond this morning. I guess my girls are done with their night time skinny dipping. It is time to train them to go in at night.

    My silly ladies will sleep in their pond. I made them a cute little cottage and haven't ever seen them go inside.

    I am new at this garden duck thing. I have 3 hens who are about 6 months old. Our first egg showed up yesterday with the solar eclipse. We found another one today. My problem/ question is...why are the eggs in the pond?
