Oh ok. I'll slack off the corn. They are 21 weeks so do I need to go back to the starter/grower? Or are you saying they may be slower to lay because of this. I only started layer pellets last week.
I do! There are four up high in the coop. They aren't even scratching around in them. I thought they did that when they got ready to lay. They are right by where they roost so they see them.
I started out with layer crumble but not I'm using pellets. They feee range a lot too. I give them cracked corn, yogurt, and I raise my own meal worms to feed them.
I think I'll try that. My friend sends me all these pics of her big brown eggs and I can hardly stand it! Haha so I've been thinking there has to be something wrong with them. I jokingly say I bought some dud chickens.
