    Neck feather loss

My golden wyodonette Lucy has been picked by our other hen in the coop. It started off with a small patch now bigger. I increased their feed with 20%protein feed and giving them more worms. Anything else I can do? Should I separate them? And how long till more feathers come back? First and...

    Lucy neck feather loss

I have two hens Betty and Lucy. About two days ago I noticed Lucy losing feathers in this area of her neck. I checked her skin no redness or signs of mites. And her skin near her vent is clear and tons of feathers. Could it be molting or is the other hen Betty picking her? What can I do? Add...

    Yellow caked poop

My golden wyndotte Lucy has been sitting on an egg in the nesting box a lot lately and I noticed this yesterday and today. It is like yellow poop stuck to her feathers. I cleaned it with warm water. It was not too close to the vent. She is still laying eggs about every other day where before she...

    Soren spot on beak

Our golden Wette Lucy has a worn spot on her beak. She and our other chicken, Betty rubbed their beaks on the Rapp wire of their coupe. Any good advice for helping it heal? Do I need to supplement their feed? Attached is a picture of our feed and Lucy.

I needed to rehome a rooster. It is an Ancona and is about 10 weeks old. I live in Orange County California but willing to drive to riverside or inland empire. My neighborhood is not ver chicken friendly so I need to rehome pretty quickly. Open to any advice. The rooster is very nice not aggressive.

    Ancona or Americana or aurcana?

Thanks so much! We have a small coop with a Barr rock and golden lace. She is loudest and most skittish, but she lets me hold her at times. Little worried because our neighborhood is not the most chicken friendly so a bit worried about the noise and the breeds being flighty. Also my youngest...
