Ok, see you Friday. I just did a head count of what I have left after the last couple of buyers (apparently I had more than I thought I did starting out, because I've sold quite a few:

10 Partridge Rock (there's one I think is a Roo) $4
2 Not sure, probably EE's...
Sorry, there's about 7 PR, 10 BA, 15 Amberlink, 18 BR, and 15 EE left. And they are all at my house now! Wow, up to my ears in chicks! The store only keeps them for one week. $4 for the older ones and $3 for the younger ones. Very healthy birds, no medications.
I am off of Old State Rd. kind of towards New Salem. I still have some of everything. The 1 month old Easter Eggers are sold out. Actually, I'm not sure about two of them, whether they were Partridge Rock or Easter Eggers, they were in the EE bunch, but didn't have much beard, and they were...

I haven't been doing this for an exceptionally long tme, but it seems there is always a runt in any batch of chicks. A lot of people will cull them (my husband alwys tells me to), but I always keep them and just make sure they are eating.
She's definitely blue, but no white earlobes, and I don't think the breeder had an Andalusian on her place. I wondered about Blue Australorp (although I think she only has Black's so not sure that would be possible) or a Cuckoo/Aussie cross (which may account for the brown spots in the wings??)
Here are some pics of Lacy's eye. Amazingly, it's not swollen shut, although the actual tear is much worse than it was a few days ago. She is not acting any differently. She is very active and was scratching and eating away when I found her. I separated her and she is pacing back and forth in...
I have an 8 wk old (I think pullet) that came from a batch of what was supposed to be Cuckoo Marans. The breeder had Black Australorp babies in with the Cuckoos and I ended up with 3 BA's and the rest look like normal Cuckoo's except for this one. She has a couple small splashes of brown as...
