Hens go broody when you don’t want them to… and won’t go broody when you do. 
I saw your thread about getting Dominique/BR crosses. If you want a Dominique cockerel I have two that I got from Cackle Hatchery accidentally instead of females. Let me know if you want one, they're 6 or 7 weeks old. I'm in Pitt County.
