We have Red Sex Links hens (27) and a Australorp Roo. We're thinking about letting the Roo go with the hens (hence we may get chicks).
Has anyone ever crossed these two breed? What did you end up with?
How old are they? (sorry if I missed it, but couldn't find it)
The EE looks like a hen to me.
I agree that pokey looks like a roo. Only one in the bunch (to me, at least).
Also, don't quote me on what breeds the RSL came from. That's just what I was told. My fiance's grandfather thinks they were crossed with RIR, but I'm not too sure. He's an old chicken farmer, and knows how to commercially farm them, but he keeps asking me about stuff like how I can tell the one...

I got a better picture... I think it's the same chick, but I didn't do that intentionally, haha. I have 4 of this kind, 4 evil little cornish/rocks and 6 red sex links. Any other opinions? It's my new display picture.
I'm from Delaware, from Kent but living in Sussex.
This is my first time raising chickens, or birds of any kind, or any animals of my own (except a few dogs and a guinea pig that weren't entirely mine). I took animal classes (in the agriculture high school pathway and for pre-vet) so I...
