    We picked up several bantam chicks from Tractor Supply a few days ago and noticed that one of them is having trouble walking around properly. It may have gotten worse over these few days, as when we first got her she just seemed a bit more wobbly than the other chicks. Her right leg seems fine...

    abandoned egg

    One of our broody hens has abandoned her egg. I believe the egg is at least 14 days old. All I have is a heating pad, a brooder, and a digital kitchen thermometer. Is there anything I can do to help save the egg? Thank you!

    We have 5 Barred Rocks, 3 Buff Orpingtons, 3 Rhode Island Reds, 1 (Light) Brahma, and 1 Cornish Cross we decided to keep. We also have one Broad Breasted White turkey. :) How long have you kept poultry, and did you start with chickens or ducks first?
