    Quote: That's true but if the snakes are coming after eggs that means they have probably cleaned out most of the rodents. Once more what kind of wire are you using to keep out pests? I suggest going to half inch hardware cloth, don't forget .... snakes can crawl up wire. I have lived here...

    Well i went out at 915 last night and found another rat snake. It took off twards the woods and i was right behind it running and shooting. Glad my .22 hold 18 bullets because i used 15 of them before i killed it lol Bad news is... even after ive killed this one, i still had 3 eggs missing...

    Some of you.... lol I have had the worst problem ever. I found these about 3 weeks ago. I believe they were trying to breed since there were 7 of them in one water hole that was only about 4ft by 4ft This girl has been working so hard to hatch eggs.
