We recently lost our greatest Rooster to a Bobcat. Luckily we had some of his offspring in a bator. They just hatched a couple of days ago. He was a BLRW. Can you guess the mothers?

the one just hatched out of the egg an hour ago and another just popped out 5min ago. The unzipping went pretty swiftly, under an hour.

let me add to this:
I opened the incubator in order to take out the bars keeping the eggs in place. The instructions told me to do this (I am freaking out because everyone seems to say that is a terrible idea). Secondly my little thermometer/hydrometer says 99.4 and 65% humidity. I don't know...
So all my eggs pipped (sp?) last night around 7-8pm on the 19th day of incubation. I took the incubator off of the auto-turn cradle and shut the vents to 1/3 open for extra humidity. I could hear the chicks in their eggs and all was very exciting.

The egg on the right seems almost red/orange to me which is what made me curious. There haven't been any major diet changes but they do free range, eat feed, and get compost scraps. I suppose that can cause all sorts of variations in their yolk color.

Just found my first egg in the coop today on the floor. It's a shared coop with Chickens and they all get along fine.
I would love to see if the Guineas could lay and hatch their offspring. Are there any tips as to how to get them to do it. I have 9 guineas and for sure 2 of them are female...
