    Just wanted to share these cute feet with other chicken lovers. I ordered 4 splash Ameraucanas from cackle and didn’t expect them to keep their cute freckled feet as they matured!

    Scary?? Chicken eating leaves of tomato plant

    My chickens will destroy any tomato plant they have access to.. leaves, stalks, tomatoes. It all gets eaten. Which is why the garden is completely caged off now. :p

    My hen Stevie will not lay in a nesting box, no matter what I try! I have 5 nesting boxes for 5 laying hens and have tried nesting herbs and fake eggs. She will go into the nesting boxes and even hang out, but then goes to the ground to lay. Are there any other tried and true tips y’all can give me?
