2X Failed Bumblefoot Surgery, What to do Next?

Look for greenish bruises on the webbing between the toes. Often bruising causes chickens to limp more often than bumblefoot.

If you would post a closeup of the bumblefoot, we could see what it looks like. If it's wet and yellowish under the scab, you may need to dig the pus out. It doesn't always oblige by coming out in the form of a solid pus plug attached to a scab.

I am in the process of dealing with a hen with Bumblefoot and my kernel wasn't just under the scab, I had to push and push and it came from the direction of between her toes. So just because you don't see it, doesn't mean there isn't one in there! She's much better now. Scab came back black not pink though so I'm getting antibiotics for her from the vet as the surgery was very stressful for her 😬
