    Two meat birds died at three weeks

    I am using standard feed. My brooder and coop/run floors are made of 1/4 inch hardward cloth so the poop goes to a catch board or the ground. Will this help prevent any disease? I was worried about the pressure on their toes but all seems good.

    I plan on letting mine out tomorrow for the first time. They vary in age from 3 weeks to probably 6. Plan on putting them in an old grass rabbit run that hasn't been used in two years. I like the idea of keeping them fenced in at first.

    When you say you cleaned it do you mean processed it? I would be careful about eating anything I personally didn't kill or take in. You never know what happen. I know it stinks when you get close but I would be soo nervous.

    Birds seems like they were average. Brooder is 6x4 so shouln't be a factor with birds at this size. I was feeding 24/7 but stopped yesterday.
