    Maybe its a "dark" brahma or a mix? I agree that it doesn't look like any other varieties of brahma except the dark brahma, but I'm no expert. Best of luck!

    Ok, the chick in the photo appeared to have feathered legs. I have a Wyandotte chick at the moment and as you mentioned, its clean legged.

    We had to put her down. I later learned that it was possible to fix splayed leg with braces. It would have taken a lot of effort but I still would have done it if I knew... :hit
