Gout? MS? Bumblefoot? in 1 year old hen

Thanks so much. She's seemed to have a few issues with her feet/ legs, so I wonder if she's just more sensitive. I will try the Prid and betadine!

Gout? MS? Bumblefoot? in 1 year old hen

Meet Stella. 1.5 year old Easter Egger hen. We noticed today that her feet seem swollen and a little tender. Her activity level and food consumption seem normal, she does seem to be walking a little gingerly. She has multiple swollen areas on her feet and I'm trying to sort out what she has...

Welsummer and EE Pullets vs Cockerels

Thank you! They just got out of quarantine and are enjoying the yard (except for when our older hens chase them away). Next step is to try and integrate them 😳

Welsummer and EE Pullets vs Cockerels

    Extremely cold weather please help

We are also struggling through the Colorado cold snap right now. Debating about bringing our three hens in for the night or continuing to heat the coop up a bit every couple hours using a ceramic space heater attached to a smart plug. I wish I knew what was best for my girls!

    Hen losing weight and feathers

Thank you so much for all of your help and support. I really appreciate your wonderful advice! She is such an active and sweet (to people, less sweet to new chickens ) girl normally it's been concerning to see her feel rotten. We lost a few chicks to some type of virus or other pathogen when...

    Hen losing weight and feathers

I took a few quick photos this morning before I had to leave for work. All the feathers in the coop are from the last 24 hours (relatively). She was out of the coop hanging out with the other chickens this morning. Still seems pretty disinterested in good. I got her to eat a couple of mealworms...
