    I've been busy busy. I've got 53 chicks and 11 poults at the moment. Turkey mama is currently hatching a clutch. We found 3 more turkey nests over the weekend. Yay. I'll be opening my farmer's market in May. Lots of exciting things going on in my neck of the woods

    It's been I since I've gotten on this forum. I've been busy on the farm. Anyway, Im Looking to buy some pullets that are either laying or about to start laying near Sumter county. Preferably a dual purpose breed, so they'd fit in with the hens already here.

    I've got to quit going away for long periods of time!! I can never catch up. I've been super busy trying to get the farm up and going. Turkeys and chickens are broody. The garden is planted. Spring is definitely here. Tonight I'm cooking the old faithful. Deer tips n rice.

    I didn't think so either, but my husband and I came across White Oak Pastures in Bluffton, GA. The red rangers are their chickens of choice. They are great pasture birds.
