    The color is off, the color is light gray with darker gray feathers beginning t grow. I am hoping he is a true blue, but either way I would like to get him some little hens that are his breed.

    He started out as a dove gray chick from a SR bantam batch. Eventually I knew he was a rooster but I do not know what breed. His legs are gray/blue. He is developing a few blackish feathers now with a couple black spots on each wing. I would like to get some hens to match him but I do not know...

    Egg Color question

    Thanks, and I learned a lot in life way before there was an internet. Obviously not everything we learn along the way is accurate. I will continue to ask questions because I am still learning. I try never to be snarky ... I was taught it is better to be kind. I hope that is still true.
