I've had one, fought with it for 16 mths ,poor hatch's -hot/cold spots, poor visibility at hatch -turner problems.
was a affordable choice i thought,proved to be an expensive purchase after losing lots of expensive eggs
saved up & bought...
understand yr need for ads but whenever i go to "coops& run" forum ,enter thread "diy thread-lets see yr inventions"
a new window opens with a "mature age game" it has a skip this ad sign but it doesn't work,it asks if u r over 18 if u say no it still continues .
please investigate, as i think...
i run my rcom @45% rite thru all 21 days. some ppl increase to 65% for last 3 days.some ppl run lower humidity to start if they r in a humid location.
i get better hatch rates running mine 45% ,weighting eggs & graph for a 13-14% weight loss over 21 days .
I adjusting humidity up or down...
yes they do 360 degrees as u describe ,i had one for 2 yrs .after several poor hatches i gave up & bought a rcom.
mine didn't turn /tilt to full 45 degrees& had trouble with humidity .temp was good.i did better with manual turning but lid was hard to see thru for hatch

sorry guys ,u mite have to wait a couple of days for more pics of my growout pen .have done something to my left ankle.
having trouble just getting out to feed chooks & collect eggs.
doc says its osteo -arthritis,but it came on suddenly ,can't put much weight on it & movement aggravates it.

lol allowed to have one good idea occasionally when u get old
never been able to use milk crates for nest box's either ,my hens r too big to fit,think they dislike the high front.

Bee ,a bit like u, make things from whats available ,
this tramp was blown away in a storm ,got bent up a bit - neighbour asked me to take to tip -
wanted to make another hoop coop, but didn't have sufficient cattle panel, too old to crawl around on hands & knees under a tramp as was ,so...
some pics as promised of coop from old trampoline
used 3 sections from trampoline dia to form ends
joined end sections with uprights that held up safety net around tramp mat
as i didn't have access to a welder ,drilled & pop riveted joints

Hi Bee ,will post some pics of a grow out pen/ coop , I made from an old kids trampoline,.
approx 12'w x 15' L x 6'h - as soon as i can get some dry days .raining a bit lately

hi Bee ,hope u have success with the WR's,would be good to see a nice flock of them running in yr field.
my winter hatch r outside now, getting ready to separate the girls from the boys.
looks like i will sell all bar one, from the 19 -come spring.like Fred says "keep the best sell the rest"...
