new incubator egg turner confussment

just brought a new janoel 48 egg incubator with automatic egg turner/tilt every 2 hourly turn..........
i am confused tho.. the egg turner/tilter was tilted to the left hand side then 2 hours later it tilts to the right.for a second . still in movement and goes back to the left hand side again for another 2 hours..and soo on........ am i wrong in thinking this is not correct i thought that the eggs should sit on the left for 2 hours the the right for 2 hours then back to the the left for 2 more and so on...

please help as i have never used a tilting style incubator and would appreciate the help and knowledge of people whom may of used a incubator of the same style

can some one tell me if my incubator is doing the correct thing or is it faulty
would like to set my eggs in the morning...

any one kind anuff to help.. is it only vital that the egg moves so the embryo does not get stuck
it does not matter if the egg returns to the same place to rest

My dad has just bought me one of these online it will come Monday 12 may so I will let you know what I find out

Try push the reset button on it to re start the turn cycle and see what that does

Could you post a pic of egg incubator pls to see if it's the same as mine as my egg turner dosnt work like that

thats how they work,just as u described it left right left ,end up in same position .

Ausi pete just to confirm that it starts in the left position tilted and every 2 hours it tilts the eggs to the right but the motor does not stop and returns the eggs to the left position again and again
I would of thought it was ment to only do a 180° and rest the eggs on the right hand side for 2 hours then return to the left
My moter is doing a full 360°

Mines different to yours nealry the same but mine does not to that with egg turner this is mine

iv just a had a 82% hatch rate with this incubator it works
