I am wondering if my hen is laying fertile eggs and so cracked one that has been in the fridge for probably 3-4 days. She has the company of a young roo, so not sure if he's done his job or not. Can anyone tell from these photos? Thank you

Other members on this forum have kindly identify my chicken as a roo. I am now wondering why he doesn't appear to have any interest in mating with the hens. He would be at least 20 weeks old - probably older.

thank you for your replies. I was really hoping chicken 2 wasn't a roo, as he is full of character and so entertaining to watch. I guess the good thing is he hasn't started to crow yet, so I can keep him for a little longer. Hopefully when the time comes I can find a good home for him.
