    Thanks ChickensAreSweet! I saw that same article yesterday and I think I may have a chicken with a bad ovarian tract or something. I had another egg that week that I had set aside because it didn't look or feel right and that was also a stink bomb. we'll see if I can find the offender.

    Great job on your rescue! I'd take the rooster but I have about 20 right now and am downsizing myself I have seen a place near Grand Rapids advertise that they havea chicken sanctuary, might be worthwhile to check the GR CL occasionally. Good luck!

    My Russian Blue Kitty died last night :(

    Thanks Mattema. I will miss him. But at least he didn't die in the shelter, he had a good life for a little while. And he is buried with my horse. That is quite the honor around here.

    My brother is 10 years older than me and there never was a brother and sister relationship. We were ok for a while but then he met his now wife, and the fighting continued. Now I maybe talk to him once a year.
