    Hey there, i just got 2 new baby chicks (2 weeks old), I have currently put them in the cage where the big 2 hens usually sleep. One of the hens is eagerly eyeing them and kind of trying to get in. Is it safe to let them out and mingle with each other. Will she be like a mother or the opposite.

    About when will that be? Because i personally think that they dont consider the egg laying box as secure enough, maybe because there is a small hole ( about 15 cm squared) which is open to anything. IDK maybe.

    Hi can anyone tell me why my chickens are not laying?. One is brown leghorn at about 25 weeks I think One is an isa brown whom I don’t know the age of. also is a picture of the egg laying box I got from them. In Australia it is winter but not too cold.
