i don't know what mottled is. but it has black feathers on its wings! like on the tips. thats about it. for actual feathers. and on its chest, you can't SEE it, but you can feel some feathers coming out. i think
i got it at this feed store and i didnt read the label thing D: and i cant go back just to look at the sign because the place is like 30 minutes away. they also had yellow ones (your average looking chick) but i got a black one mixed with yellow cause it was the closest one i could catch LOL...
