    They did just fine. :) I checked on the this morning by looking through their window and everyone was hoppin' around, eating and pooping, lol. :) My brother lives in IC. Love that town! We always got to Johns Grocery whe we visit. :)

    They survived the night without water, but they rushed right over when I put in back in this morning! :) They were huddled all together on the blocks where the waterer had been last I checked on them last night. Chicks are funny!

    Well, they knocked their water over again tonight and last night. After cleaning out the brooder again, I took their waterer out. Surely they can handle not having water overnight, right?

    Eh, it's an ok town, lol. A little small for my taste, but it'll do. I live in town, half a block from the high school. We've warned our neighbors about the chickens. They all seem fine with it except for the elderly man next door who said they are dirty animals. Hopefully it won't be a problem...

    If I sprinkle DE on the wood shavings in my coop, is it still safe to compost those shavings and put them in my garden? We garden organically, btw.
