    I know these are t the best pictures, caged chicks are 6-8 weeks old and are hybrids of splash marans cockerel with red ranger or blue egger hens. Other chicks are 5 weeks and similar hybrids although some are crossed with a speckledy hen. I can tell which are obviously boys with the larger red...

    I’ve got a black/blue copper maran and her comb is a lot smaller but tbh they could be hybrids as the breeder had a mixture of birds 🙈

    Prolapse in 13 week old chicken when pooping

    Hi our 13 week old chicken (pullet or cockerel) has a prolapse which goes in and out we have noticed when pooping. The said chicken always has a messy bum. Any advice?

    Are these both Black Copper marans?

    Our Black Copper marans recently died age 4, we bought another black copper marans from another breeder, she has feathered legs but the feather colours are quite different. Are they both BCM?
