Update:
He seems to be getting more and more energy, and today with the nice weather we let him run around in the yard and socialize and he was putting a few moves on for the ladies! He is funny to watch. The abscess seems to be getting smaller near his neck but the one near his tail is still...
Thanks Barb!
What would you recommend for probiotics to give to him?
-we have electrolytes that we have used before to help give them some juice and energy, would this help?
He is still perky tonight and eating well, also drinking well.
I'm considering giving him a bath and using a...
Here is an update:
A vet friend came over to look today and we gave him some antibiotic's. he is still perky and eating quite a bit so I am happy with that. we tried to draw from what we still think is some kind of abscess or cyst and we drew nothing..no blood or puss. I am questioning what it...
He is with 4 other hens and I checked their beaks and no signs that they had done anything to him. He seemed pretty bothered himself and I've watched him try and turn his head at it. The only reason I think he hasn't got to the other ones is because he can't reach them.

Thanks, definitely something to look in to.
He has perked up since given some TLC so I think he has more than 24 hours of life in him. He seems more comfortable now but it's bugging me I don't have the resources to do anything yet..which is why I reached out on here.
Thanks for the reply Taimon01!
It would be a possibility tomorrow. I grew up in 4-H and have reached out to sources within and some friends who are now vets and still waiting for a reply. They might have the tools that I don't have also
Thanks NFC..I accidently put it in the new member forum but I think I will get more replies in the ER one. He is perkier since getting more attention..just not sure what to do next/how to remove it
