Hello! I'm relocating to Hawaii this summer and trying to figure out how I am going to live without my birds until we buy a house! Help, peacock pulling out feathers!
Why would my peacock be pulling out his neck feathers?? He doesn't have lice. -

How long are pea eggs viable?
That also happened with my peahen and eggs. The oldest egg was about 3 weeks and now she has been sitting for close to a week now.. I'm not sure what will happen. It's my first time with a peahen and eggs! I'm afraid to candle because she's so nervous and has never let me near her, never mind... -

I have 4 peafowl, 3 peahens and 1 peacock. I know that I definitely have a pair that are 2 yrs old and the other 2 I bought from a feed store as pea chicks last summer. I thought they were females.. One is a black shoulder the other a cameo. They have recently started displaying their feathers... -
Will she sit??
When I got home today, one of the eggs was kicked out of the nest area - about 3 feet off the ground. It wasn't broken so I put it back with the other two. Any thoughts??
