One of my hens was chased by a hawk and when we found her, the only thing we noticed was a broken toe. She can still walk around and she just seems anxious and scared. What should I do? We don’t really want to give her too much special treatment. Would it heal on its own?
Okay, I will check tractor supply today. We have her outside in a dog crate on the side of the house with the most sun. It’s pretty warm and we gave her some shade. I wanted her to still be able to see and talk to the other hens.
