    medicated chick feed will kill ducks. i use purina game bird starter with mine.

    i had a pair of cayugas and they were skittish brats. the hen never laid a single egg either. i would change direction and choose calls. they are very friendly, quite common, and lay lots of light blue eggs!

    Keeping a drake in the chicken coop??

    ours started with mating the chickens, then moved to chasing, then throwing, then OFF TO THE SWAP!!! i would not reccomend it, wait and see though, our kaki cambell hen was a VERY noisy duckling, you could have all hens. you can't tell until you see curly drake feathers on the tail. good luck!!

    Raising Ducks with Chickens

    i did it once, the drake terrorized the chickens though , and ruined their waterer. i wouldn't reccomend it though. we sold our ducks because of that.
