    I would really like a Royal tom to free range, is he safe? I also free range a nasty Gold Laced Wyndott rooster, will he beat him up? I don't feel right caging up large birds, but I also have to keep them safe. Is it feasible to run roosters with a tom turkey?

    One of my Barred Rock hens lays brown speckled eggs. The other hen lays a nice smooth lighter colored brown egg.

    My Roo has two hens, they free range. The hens have bare backs from the Roo. If I add more hens will he be less "attracted" to the original hens? I don't want my hens to be bare.

    They told me here that he is a gold laced wyndott. He really likes to sneak up behind me and attack. My dogs and cats are even afraid of him. When he attacks me, I pick him up and carry him around for a while talking to him. He doesn't thrash around when I try to hold him anymore.

    It has been driving me nuts that I didn't know what he was. I knew he wasn't a barred rock pullet. Someone put him in the wrong pen.
