I am TOTALLY excited and totally freaked at the same time!
We have a little banty hen named Ari and she had been setting- I thought not very long. But surprise! They hatched today or late last night. Some of them were outside with her and some were inside the coop still- two were just coming out...
So Ok those that have had their Geese for awhile. Once they lay an egg and you know they are female for sure ( we have had males sit on eggs ) Do you then leg band them so that you know that you know they are girls?
After the babies are grown up do you seperate them out and breed them later...

Will my two male Sebestapols mate with my beautiful brown female Geese. I just got the girls and they were laying eggs like crazy with the other lady. I think the males Sinatra and Sebastion would like girls of there own kind... am i right??
