    I think the problem is we arent getting all the infection out - he is going to cut her open tomorrow if two the laser treatments dont show improvement by tomorrow. I will be much happier having him on the side of knife versus me!

    I would just watch closely. He may have just gotten food up there and couldnt clean it out good enough and got stopped up.     I have Rouens and I thought they all looked similar until 4-6 weeks as well but honestly I cant remember exactly that was all that I could think it a possible reason.

    just make it deep enough he can dunk his whole beak in and blow out his nares. the increased appetite is because they grow like weeks - they double like every two weeks in size totally normal! I would be worried if it stayed the same or decreased.

    Entire clutch of duck eggs...Poof! Gone!

    My friend had a snake they caught ate the entire clutch 3 days before hatch! They picked it up and took a photo with it and all the eggs in the belly - gross and sad at the same time!
