    No tan on the lighter ones, grayish white with a little darker gray strip on their heads..

    New huge brooder on the porch.....questions

    My husband build me a huge 6 foot brooder that I will have on my empty porch for this year. Any suggestions to keeping flies to a minimum out there? Thanks.

    I don't know why it's so hard sometimes to get answers on here. I Have a reptile bulb in my brooder. As long as you have a thermometer and keep the temps proper.....

    My husband just noticed that we had one egg further alongalong than any... We just didn't see it because it pipped and started to zip UNDERNEATH! We just rolled it over without opening the incubator but now it's not moving at all..... Will it be OK??

    porous egg with hatching eggs?????? need help!

    If anyone has followed my posts. I had one porous egg that looked like it may have an embryo inside. Some of you suggested to leave it in, that chicken eggs usually don't have enough time to get enough bacteria to explode.... My question is,,,, my chicks started pipping, if that one egg is bad...

    Only one other egg has moved once today, the other four haven't moved at all yet...waiting!

    Day 20. Hatch questions.

    Polkadots, is that Australorps you have? So day 20 is coming to an end and I only saw two of my six eggs shake a little today. Tomorrow is day 21, I hope I wake up to some action!
