I'm in Texas as well, my girls LOVE scorpion snacks! I've seen no ill effect on any of them.

Leave them out! Once my girls were fully feathered, I booted them outside. It was about 55 degrees at night. All 10 thrived. :)

Pullet. Looks just like my girls and they just started laying light brown eggs. Keep an eye out for eggs!

9/10 all my girls are laying now! :)

I live in Texas, they bite. The majority of them will strike at you as soon as they see you around here. I have small children that are no match for a 5 foot, mean as hell rat snake. Look up Texas rat snake behavior, mean little buggers.

My EE played in the nest box for a few weeks before we got our first egg. You know you're close when they squat!

My girls will chest bump with hackles up. Normal pecking order behavior.
