Who would have thunk it! I'm not getting much work done anymore. Thank God I only have 6 hens! I couldn't imagine sitting outside listening to the "egg song" for more. Chickens are definately addictive!!

It's funny but you definately know when it's the egg song. Here is another you tube video. It's perfect. When I played it for the girls they stopped doing, stood straight up with their heads held high and listened intently. Too funny!! Hoping they'll run right to their nest and lay! Haha

I've looked through several BYC threads and maybe I have the answer - but not sure.
I have six 13 wk. pullets. Five have one or no tail feathers anymore. There are alot of feathers strew throughout their hen house and run. Every once in a while they will eat a small feather off the ground...
