I will point out one thing, however. People who use garlic for their chickens are highly likely to use lots of garlic in their own kitchens. When cooking my eggs, I tend to add a bit of garlic, just for flavor. I don't really taste lightly used garlic as garlic...
We finally finished our coop. Not bad at all for some 2*4s and demolished shed scraps... Please excuse the mess. I was excited and took pictures before cleanup.

We purchased Gryffindor (chick pictured below) from Coastal Farm Supply. She was in the "assorted white egg layers" bin. Does anyone care to guess what breed she is? Her wing and tail feathers seem to be coming in mostly white, with a few black wingfeathers mixed in.
