No yolk! He's definitely a rooster too with some behaviors I'm seeing. Hoping he's a nice one! Our last had a ton of my girls bald headed and probably 2/3 bear backed.
It's 17 weeks old. I have 2 other blue egg layers but they lay big eggs. The other two are 18 months old. Everyone else in the coop lay browns to whites. This chicken is the only young one. I'll have to see if it progressively gets bigger?

Ok thanks! We will be needing a roo. Our latest Wyandotte was so rough with the girls they had no feathers on their heads or backs. Our best roo is old and you can tell and our other roo is a bantam. Hope an Easter Egger is gentler
My husband, daughter and a helper paid with a chicken or two do it themselves ! Last year we did 10 this year in about a week and half will do 26 more.
I have two broody Brahma's! They've been broody a month! It's really hard to break them and they're so crabby! Last time, we just kept pulling them out when we saw they were in there!
Hi, this is my mystery rare/exotic chicken from McMurray. We received it with a batch of 25 cornish x. Any idea what it is? Our best guess is Easter egger? It'll be 12 weeks really soon. As a baby it was brown and looked like a chipmunk. Thanks so much!
