    My EE did the exact same thing a while back. She laid an egg about every 1.5 days for 2 months after her first egg and then she just stopped for 2-3 weeks and then started up again. I can't promise that will happen to you but that was my experience. I had 14 hens and 1 rooster

    Stupid run height question

    Mine is 8ft and I am VERY glad I made it that tall. No bending and no smacking my head. The other goodie is that I put some "day time roosts" for my birds to play on during the day. My roo seems to like the higher perch to announce his presence (crow) during the day.

    That is freak'n awesome. I am still laughing. You shouldn't need to worry about predators. A racoon will see that and either run scared or fall over laughing and lose his appetite.

    About half of my BR's lay speckled eggs. The speckles range from lavender to red to dark purple. I kinda like think it's cool especially next to the EE's green eggs.

    Finally found a coop

    I say keep the RV and that would be the sweetest crib ever for your chickens. Put some shag carpet in, curtains, and a disco ball. All the other chickens would be jealous. Don't forget the TV screens and sound system. Seriously tho, very good idea. I thing it would make the best coop.
