We have goslings (well juveniles now) so the adults aren't flying right now, don't have pics its sporadic and fast. The gander is the funniest because even when he lands badly he is always proud.
The cousin probably got lice from a friend or at school, its pretty common with kids, especially if they share hats or brushes. Sad the ducks were falsely accused and discarded, I hope someone responsible finds them and rescues them.
Sometimes the noises and behavior give them away, its not 100% but the ganders are louder and have big egos, loving to sound off with the shoulders up like the one in the photo is, while the girls are more mellow and sometimes shy.

My broody serama won't give it up, we don't even have a rooster, and now shes sitting on a superball since I took the eggs from her.
The feedstore sells chicks, but only the LF are sexed, shes not a tiny tiny serama, do you think she could handle 2 or 3 LF day olds?
Brinsea has much less of a "learning curve" LG can be touchy and a real pain. Brinseas customer service is great, and the solid plastics will last you longer than styrofoam.
I have one like that, her name is Kazooie, a speckled sussex who finds oddball spots I can't reach. I had to remove siding to get to the eggs she laid under the house in a far unreachable corner, then wire off every little spot she could squeeze through, then I found her laying under the shed...
