Looking to incubate some chicken eggs for egg layers and educational reasons for my grand-daughters...Have been searching around and it sounds like Brinsea and Little Giant are the two most popular for novices. Any pro or cons to either one? Only plan on doing 3-10 or 15 eggs at a time. Any ideas, or input is appreciated....

Brinsea for sure. I like my lg, but it takes a lot of babying to get a good hatch with them. I think brinseas are pretty much set and forget.

Brinsea is what I used for my first hatch ever. It IS set it and forget it. My work schedule keeps me away from home most of the time so I couldn't afford missing turning, temp or humidity adjustments. Today I got my first chick!

Brinsea has much less of a "learning curve" LG can be touchy and a real pain. Brinseas customer service is great, and the solid plastics will last you longer than styrofoam.
