    So as the title states. My coop is set up for deep litter method and I've just recently found out that chicken manure is hot, so not sure how to cool things down for use in my vegetable/flower gardens. I'm new to the whole back yard chickens and living it so far.

    So I'm new to back yard chickens, less than a week. The question I have is should I feed my chicken with a gravity feeder in their coop? Or should I just throw it out in their run? Thanks for the input.
