I’m looking for fertile emu eggs. I am not willing to have them shipped, so local pickup near central Ohio is preferred. I am willing to drive 2-3 hours.
Hey everyone, looking for a little advice on an issue with my sportsman cabinet incubator. Recently, The pixels on the digital screen are starting to fail...entire horizontal lines. Currently, I can still read the humidity, turn numbers, temp, etc but it takes some time and guessing to make sure...
Sorry @TJChickens, I somehow missed your response! Apparently I’m not getting email notifications. Either way, I’m still interested in eggs. I can mail a check or do Venmo/Cash app. I know we are getting close to the end of season, but I’m still willing to try it if you can.
Two of my peahens were attached this week sitting on their nests, and I lost both nests. I’m looking for some hatching eggs, if anyone has any available still. I would need them to be shipped, or be close to central Ohio.
Thanks everyone!
Hey Everyone- I have a chain link run for my birds that is 99.5ft by 60ft. What i am trying to figure out, is how much netting do you need to compensate for the support poles, etc? For instance, would a 50 by 50 piece of netting cover a 50 by 50 foot run? I don't really know how stretchy this...
ColbyNTX and MinxFox, thanks for the replies. Its hard to find good information on the placement of eggs.

Does anyone use a Cabinet incubator for peahen eggs? I have read you are supposed to incubate them on their side, but all the large egg trays that fit the cabinet style incubators hold the eggs upright. Does anyone know if this makes a difference? And, if it is better to hatch them on their...

I was looking at buying a GQF 1527 from someone, but I am still a little confused as to how this incubator is different from the 1502. I am hoping hat some of you out there have experience with this type of incubator, and can provide me with some insight.
The seller told me it comes with 2...
