Blue Laced Red Wyandottes - Pullets or Roos???

Okay, now that these guys are 11 weeks old, I thought I'd post some more pics. I think I have 4 boys and 2 girls. What do you think? Pretty sure this one's a girl: And here one of several boys and one that I think is a girl. She's the one with the wrong kind of comb that many people...

Wet under nipple waterers?? Help please!

About a week ago, my husband built a watering system for our chickens using the farmtek nipples. It's awesome, the chickens learned to use it right away, no more lugging water to the coop. Awesome. *Except* the litter under the inside nipples (which are attached to a PVC pipe) is always wet...

Should I cull this chick? CROOKED BEAK (pics)

She's actually been able to eat on her own all this time. I had read about crooked beaks when I first noticed it (about 2 weeks old) and that there wasn't much you could do other than trimming the beak or making sure the feeders were deep enough for them to get their beaks far down into the food.

Should I cull this chick? CROOKED BEAK (pics)

Wow. So right after posting this, I went to check on her (we put her today in a brooder in the house cause she was obviously not feeling well), and I found that she'd died. Poor sweet girl. Sad to see her go, but happy she's out of her misery.

Should I cull this chick? CROOKED BEAK (pics)

Hi. I have a 6 week old Mille Fluer Bantam with a bad crooked beak. I took pictures of her this morning to show y'all. She literally eats all the time (I guess cause she can't get much at a time). She has been growing well - in fact, she's larger than my 2 other MF's. My husband thinks we...

Blue Laced Red Wyandottes - Pullets or Roos???

Booo! So #4 has wrong type of comb AND is a boy? Because of the size of the comb by this point? I'm so dissappointed. I thought I'd at least get 2 pullets.

Blue Laced Red Wyandottes - Pullets or Roos???

Oh, no! Such varied responses!! Could it be because they're harder to sex b/c of the rose comb? Anybody with specific experience with this breed? I was sure at least that the single combed one was a pullet, but maybe not?

BLR Wyandottes - too soon to guess gender?

Hi. These chicks are about 4 weeks old. Is it too soon to guess their gender? Is it true that you have to wait longer to tell with Wyandottes because of the type of comb? I got 6 straight run from McMurray and, of course, I'm anxious to find out if I got any pullets! Thanks for your help.
