    she has been loud since day one. I take them out in the yard for a an hour or 2 a day. she is queit when out side. Maybe she hate the heat lamp. I'm mostly conserned about her small size.

    I got one today. i put my 3 week old chicks in there while I'm gardening. Its great to get them outside while supervised. The chicks had fun.

    baby chick eating tick that might have been exposed to a pesticide

    I just found a tick on my bed so I fed it to my 2 ½ week old chicks. Then it occurred to me, it might have fell off my dog that is on Nex Gard, the active ingredient is Afoxolaner. I wont do it again but should I be worried? is there something I should do?

    they are eating medicated. I'll try acv and dryes oatmeal. I tried an electrlight in the water (turns it yellow) but I dont think they liked it. now they drink plain water. tonight thier butts are clean.

    Thanks. I'll be sure not to pull anything off. Only wash if needed. Last night we had house guest and the TV was blasting. the chick were chirping. The house is quite again and they are cleaner.
