Backyard chicken 'farmer'/artist living in South Africa. I have Lohmanns , Buff Orpingtons and Black Australops....all brilliant layers! The eggs we consume as a major part of our diet, and also give away to whoever needs in our neighborhood. I have currently 16 birds , and have trained my dogs to socialize and respect chickens!!
