    Buying chickens in Central Coast California

    So after buying 3 Pullets in April and having all three turn out to be cockerels, I am a bit discouraged.     Had a guy come and pick up the Buff Orpington Cockerels so we are now at 2 three year old auracana hens and the cockerel sold to us as a Green Queen. We wanted pullets to be sure we got hens too.
