Hi everyone, just found this site and joined. We are new to raising chickens. We got our first 4 hens last year from a family that was moving. We lost two over the winter. So in April we bought three pullets. We were told they were hens, but we woke up to crowing yesterday. Turns out my two Buff Orpingtons were roosters. Now I’m looking at my Green Queen as well. It is 21 weeks old. When should we expect to get eggs?

Beautiful boy on your photos! Buff Orpingtons are late to mature, generally between 24 to 28 weeks to laying. Good luck with all your poultry projects!
