    How old can a chick be before you clip their wings?

    I would never clip just one side on the chicken wings I have seen that done and watched chickens fly in the air come down sideways and hurt themselves due to being off-balance. So my suggestion if you're going to have to clip their wings do both sides.

    I agree wood chips is the only way to go I have tried straw don't like the straw when it's wet it smells bad and it doesn't seem to hold the poop like wood chips. So there you go my opinion wood-chips

    I'm sorry to say she passed away from the prolapse I could not get it to go back in this time so I had to put her down but thanks for everybody's help I do appreciate it I sure learned a lot about prolapse and I think everybody else has to so again thank you for all your help.
